The Montana Agritourism Association's third annual conference is for farmers, ranchers, tourism professionals, educators, and community leaders who want to open their working land to visitors. The 2026 theme is Cultivating Opportunity: Growing Montana Through Agritourism.
Thursday offers farm tours around the Lewistown area followed by an evening social. Friday is the main event, with keynote speakers, panels, and breakout sessions on developing, marketing, and growing an agritourism business. Presenters include producers, industry professionals, and state agency representatives.
If you run a farm stay, host tours, sell at a farm stand, or are thinking about any of it, this is the state's central gathering for that work. The conference is sponsored by the Montana Department of Agriculture specialty crop block grant at MSU.
